Friendships shouldn't be that much of a problem for Royce, seeing he's friendly with almost anyone. He isn't as closed minded as the other Socs and if he's by himself, he'll happily talk to a Greaser and put aside their differences. As long as there's no insults being thrown, he won't do the same because he sees himself as a person with class. He's pretty easy to talk to even if there's nothing interesting to talk about, Roy always has something to say to prevent situations from turning awkward. In terms of trusting Royce, he can keep secrets and expects others to do return the sentiment.

Enemies consists primarily of Greasers, just because they're polar opposites in terms of social welfare and background. Royce sees them as lesser beings, thugs with nothing good about them. Maybe if he meets one with a great personality, he may tolerate their presence better, but he won't chase after a Greaser without just cause. Unless he feels threatened, then he'll fight. But generally speaking, he's cool with anyone and if he meets opposition - sometimes the only way to settle it is with a fight if diplomacy fails.

Lovers, not really a good idea for him since he gets too clingy with people. He doesn't have a girlfriend, surprisingly being one of those popular Socials in his high school. He normally keeps to himself with relationships, sometimes even lying to others that he has a girlfriend when he really doesn't. Though he may flirt with the opposite sex, it basically stops there. As for guys, he's seen how people become shunned and criticized like one of his friends named Kevin, but unless he's that desperate to be with someone, he won't necessarily take that route. But people change.

Pony & Royce

Hey dear! So you know Pony, he
doesn't really care if you're a soc.
He does get along with a few but
he of course realizes that a true
friendship is out of the question.
Pony understands that the socs
and the greasers are just too
different. So maybe they could
be acquaintances? After all Royce
would probably just see him as
a lower class brat ^^ Maybe they
could develop a sort of strained
friendship?

Soda & Royce

Well Soda is quite different
than Pony. Even if they don't really
realize it. Soda is more out going and
very happy go lucky. If he and Royce
did come across each other Soda would
probably treat him just like a regular
guy or something along those lines.
Also he would probably try to be his
friend and test out his soccy boundaries.

Damon & Royce

Here is Damon, pretty much the baby
of the Socs. His father used to play for
the rams and considers himself to be
pretty damn important. Needless to
say they have some money (like every
other soc). I think Damon would actually
really like Royce and think he was a lot
nicer than most other socs. He has had
a pretty rough deal at home for a long
time. So maybe if they do become friends
they can also be confidants?


Any ideas? Sorry the plots kind of suck I'm kind of tired ^^

Royce & Pony
Hiya! Perhaps if Pony were to be by himself, Royce would chat it up with him. Though he's reasonable so you won't have to worry about him jumping any of your Greaser boys and leaving them with a black eye ; ) I was thinking Ponyboy would see Royce as the 'brat', or spoiled brat rather haha. Though Roy would prefer to keep their struggling 'friendship', if it could be called that, on the down low. But he'll happily provide some money so Pony would get a decent meal or a comfortable place to stay. Assuming, Royce sees him less of a nuisance =P

Royce & Soda
I can totally see that happening and there's no doubt in my mind that they can get along just fine. Royce is the same way, he likes to have fun and live like there's no tomorrow. Maybe if you wanted me to incorporate a story of Kevin's disappearance, I'm sure Soda is wondering where he is - granted we slashed them together xD The two of them will have a more distinct friendship, but Royce prefers to keep it quiet and if he was put into the spot where he had to hurt a Greaser to 'fit in' with the Socs, he wouldn't do so and might end up giving a speech about it lol

Royce & Damon
We can have it that both of them knew each other for a while now, but haven't really gotten the time to talk to each other for minding their own business. If Royce were to ever find out about Damon's backstory, he would want to help out in any way he can. He won't be able to live with himself if he simply let it happen and pretended everything was fine. It all depended if Damon was willing to accept any aid and Roy would back off if he wanted him to. But since they come from a familiar rich background, that automatically sets them on the same level. But I'm sure Damon needs someone to look after him if he needs it.
